In Profundis Progress (5/28)

Work on switching over to pyglet continues.  Also redoing the graphics for performance improvements.  Not particularly interesting I know.  Right now most of the work has been infrastructure, gruntwork, and preparation for... the future....

  1. Out of curiosity, what were you using before pyglet? Pygame? Are you able to get some more speed out of it or were there other reasons for the switch?

  2. Speed is the reason for switching. But also I'm considering an iPad version, and pyglet, as the basis for Cocos2D, is a step in that direction.

  3. So what led you to conclude pyglet was faster than pygame? I've done a lot of googling and only come across anecdotal evidence & rather unhelpful 'pros & cons' lists.

    Keep up the great work, very curious to see the end result. :)
